Baxter/Brainerd Parks and Recreation, along with the Brainerd Public Schools Community Education department, work in conjunction to provide recreation programs.

Through a Joint Powers agreement with the City of Baxter and as a service to the community, Brainerd Public Schools Community Education coordinates the City's youth recreation programs. Programs include baseball, softball, flag football, and soccer.

Since January of 2021, we have also partnered with the City of Brainerd to provide for their youth baseball and softball leagues, as well as the Miracle League adaptive ball program at Bane Park, and the youth tennis program.
